Here is a live rendition of my song ‘BIGGER!’ which was featured on a live online show for www.Popshift.tv – a really cool online platform promoting South Asian and pop culture. The online event was in aid of raising donations for NAACP, which is a civil rights organisation in support of the advancement of people of colour.
As a creative, I am find it really hard navigating through this time with all my gigs cancelled and not knowing when I will be earning again. It’s pretty scary, though the only thing that’s keeping me going is writing songs, playing piano and throwing myself in to music. Another thing that brings me peace is helping wherever I can which gives me a sense of purpose and usefulness during this time. There are amazing people out there that are working tirelessly to save lives. I am an artist, I can’t save lives but I can use my talents and skills to help in many ways and I have to remember that. I can help by raising funds for good causes or just by bringing joy and good vibes to people that are suffering in some way or those that are on the front lines doing wonderful work for amazing causes.
Last week, whilst feeling pretty crushed I channelled my energies to manifest abundance, luxury and prosperity. And the outcome was this song called BIGGER!
I decided to perform this for the Popshift show.
